Alan Bissett Wins 'Scottish Writer of the Year', and I Misspelled His Name

It has been brought to my attention that there is a *glaring* typo in the draft programme for Write Now 2012. I misspelled Alan Bissett's name. I've now added the second 't'. While I am on the subject of Alan Bissett (note: there are 2 Ts), I'd like to mention that he is part of the burgeoning Write Now 2012 lineup.

Please have a look at his site: http://alanbissett.com/ You can order some of his books from Cargo Publishing's site: http://www.cargopublishing.com/alan-bissett/. He won the 'Scottish Writer of the Year' at the Glenfiddich Spirit of Scotland Awards, so is probably not awake yet, and is perhaps also ever so slightly hungover, so I'd put off asking him for his autograph for a few hours. There's a (free!) interview podcast (number 5- an interview with Alan) you can download via iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/scots-whay-hae!/id454320478?affId=1503186 , with thanks to Scots Whay Hae.

Your to-do list for November 30th, aka Strike Day, just got a little bit more interesting.
